Hero Initiative, the charitable organization dedicated to helping veteran comic creators in medical or financial need, is heading to Wizard World Ohio Comic Con at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on October 31 through November 2, 2014.

Legendary artist Barry Kitson will be anchoring the Hero booth #917 all weekend, so be sure to bring sketchbooks and comics for signatures. All proceeds will benefit Hero Initiative.

Hero’s Uncanny X-Men 100 Project is also at the con at the Hero Initiative booth. Copies are available in hardcover at $25 and softcover at $13 while supplies last.

Check out the Hero Initiative ambassadors on con floor who will be collecting donations for their worthy cause. Carlo Barberi, Kevin Maguire, and Arthur Suydam will be flying the Hero flag.
