Barry Allen’s introduction and Doctor Doom’s first appearance outside of Fantastic Four are two of the prominent lots in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation, Video Games & Art Weekly Online Auction. Comics in this auction close on March 7 followed by everything else on March 8, 2021.

Showcase #4 CGC 4.5 sees the origin and first appearance of the Silver Age Flash, Barry Allen, as well as the first appearance of Iris West, his love interest and eventual wife. Carmine Infantino and Joe Kubert created the cover and art for the issue, which currently sits at No. 4 on Overstreet’s list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics.

Doctor Doom makes his first appearance outside of the Fantastic Four in The Amazing Spider-Man #5 CGC 4.0. With a cover and art by Steve Ditko, this issue also sees Flash Thompson dressing up as Spider-Man.
