America’s favorite lasagna-loving fat cat is crossing the auction block with nearly 100 original strips and illustrations in the Jim Davis – The Art of Garfield Comic Art Showcase Auction at Heritage. The auction celebrating decades of sarcastic charm, lazy Mondays, and timeless humor closes on May 29, 2025.

The daily comic strips include the March 29, 1979 strip with Garfield as the Caped Avenger, the March 30, 1979 strip when Garfield is bested by the mailman, and on the May 5, 2010 strip, Garfield cheers up Pooky.

The Sunday strip highlights are the September 18, 1983 strip shows Garfield stealing a pie, on the March 27, 2011 strip Jon tries to make a healthy dinner, and on the March 15, 1998 strip Garfield does his impression of a glacier.
