Come on, grab your friends – BOOM! Studios has announced another Adventure Time graphic novel. In what will be the fourth installment in the series, KaBOOM! (BOOM!’s children’s imprint) will be publishing a self-contained story written by the New York Times bestselling duo, Kate Leth and Zachary Sterling.
Adventure Time Vol. 4: Bitter Sweets OGN is currently set to go on sale on November 5, 2014. The plot follows Princess Bubblegum as she ventures outside the Candy Kingdom to some of the farthest reaches of the Land of Ooo. But when things go awry, it’s up to Peebs and her loyal servant Peppermint Butler to help keep the peace.
But for fans who can’t simply stand to wait that long, there’s Adventure Time: The Art of Ooo. This book, published by ABRAMS Books, takes fans behind the scenes of Finn and Jake’s excellent adventures around Ooo. It contains early character sketches, background paintings, and other exclusive looks at what it takes to make this cartoon happen. The hardcover book, which has an introduction written by Guillermo Del Toro, is on sale now.
