HBO Max has lined up their next big cast reunion and it will be magical. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson will return to the original Hogwarts set for the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. The special will feature cast conversations and interviews along with new details on the film production.

Several other cast members will also appear during the special. They’ll be joined by two of their mentors in Gary Oldman and Robbie Coltrane, along with fellow Hogwarts alums like Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, and Alfred Enoch. The Weasley family stars Bonnie Wright, James and Oliver Phelps, and Mark Williams will reunite. The special wouldn’t be complete without series villains in actors Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, and Imelda Staunton. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone director Chris Columbus will appear along with even more guests.

“There’s magic in the air here with this incredible cast, as they all return home to the original sets of Hogwarts, where they began 20 years ago,” Hogwarts executive producer Casey Patterson said. “The excitement is palpable as they prepare to take their fans on a very special and personal journey, through the making of these incredible films.”

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will premiere on HBO Max on January 1, 2021.
