Halloweenapalooza At Channelside Bay Plaza
What could be more gut-flutteringly fun than a horror flick film festival that will scare the daylights out of you? Yeah, I couldn’t come up with anything either.
Enigma Films and Channelside Bay Plaza in Tampa Florida have partnered together for this year’s Halloweenapalooza. The festival will be held from October 19 and 20, 2007 for the first time at Channelside Bay Plaza. Along with the films, there will be celebrity guests available for pictures and autographs, trick or treating, a scavenger hunt, music, live bands, door prizes, and more activities.
Channelside Cinema is hosting the fifth annual installment of The Halloween Picture Show during Halloweenapalooza. The feature films that will be scaring, and scarring, the audience include: 100 Tears, 99 Pieces, Blood Car, The Blood Shed, The Bunker, Death on Demand, Gimme Skelter, Ghost Month, Hoodoo for Voodoo, and Zombies! Zombies! Zombies!
Save some screams after the features because there’s plenty more to see. The short films 1040, All Because of You, Cannibal Flesh Riot, Ceritosis, Gruesome, Listen, Mental Distortion, The Projection Booth, and W.O.R.M will be screened. Also, films from various nations will be displayed and some of the most promising filmmakers are screening their films for the first time.

Special celebrity guests include Tiffany Shepis, with a role in both Hoodoo for Voodoo and Zombies! Zombies! Zombies!Gimme SkelterThe Bunker, his directorial debut; and actress Krista Grotte will introduce her movie Death on Demand. Other great celebrity guests will be there as well.
Before you go, be sure to pack extra underwear, a pillow to hide behind, and check out the Halloweenapalooza website. It was created by award winning Indie filmmaker Greg Rivera and includes great information about each film, including posters, trailers, and links to other websites. You can get information about the schedule, the guest stars, how to get tickets, directions, and information on Channelside Bay Plaza.
Enjoy the films, check your backseat when you leave, and don’t forget to keep the nightlight on.
