Halloween Party to Highlight Las Vegas Comic-Con

Annual Las Vegas Comic-Con Halloween Masquerade Party on opening night, October
31. The party, featuring popular Las Vegas DJ, John Kamahele (“Johnny K”) from
the RA Nightclub, will be open to the public (ages 18 and older) starting at
7:30 p.m.
Entertainment also includes a special stage performance by
the American Recording Studio band, Wither.
There will be $5,000 in door
prizes and opportunities to win over $35,000 in cash and prizes in nine
different costume categories at the Halloween Masquerade Party. The categories
are:
Best Horror Costume
Best Creature Costume
Sexiest
Costume
Best Group Costume
Best Anime Character
Best Professional
Costume
Best Anime Group Costume
Best Re-Creation of a Film
Character
Best Sony PlayStation® 2 Video Game Character
First
place winners in each category will win $2,000, and a “Best in Show” winner will
receive a total of $10,000 in cash.
Admission is $28.00 per person, or
$18.00 per person with a Las Vegas Comic-Con pass. Cocktails and food will be
available for purchase.
The multimedia Comic-Con Extrosion™
convention will be open to the public, October 31 – November 2, and feature
entertainment, autograph guests, seminars and more than 400 exhibitors buying
and selling comics, toys, art, and movie memorabilia. The show is co-sponsored
by eBay and Comics Guaranty Corporation, and in association with Mandalay Bay
Resort and Casino.
