Hake’s July Premier Auction is in full swing, featuring nearly 1,000 lots of pop culture memorabilia. The auction offers large selections of original comic art, comics books, Star Wars, G.I. Joe, and Transformers, toys, trading cards, Disney collectibles, superhero memorabilia, model kits, premiums, and more. The auction is open for bidding now and will end on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Marvel and DC Comics are well-represented, in the original art section with examples from noted names like Dave Cockrum, Sal Buscema, John Romita, Jr., David Finch, Ron Lim, Mark Bagley, Kevin Maguire, George Evans, Adam Kubert, Rob Liefeld, Jim Starlin, Ernie Colón, Tom Lyle, Chris Bachalo, John Byrne, Tom Mandrake, and others.

One of the cosmic highlights is the Infinity Gauntlet #5 page 22 by Ron Lim with inks by Joe Rubenstein. The splash page with half page inset panel shows Thanos facing off against Eternity, highlighted by Eternity’s massive size and unique appearance. The art reflects Lim at his best with knife technique used on the surface of the board to present motion lines when Thanos jumps at Eternity and white pigment to create the appearance of a star field.

Mark Bagley’s New Warriors #10 cover with inks by Larry Mahlstedt features the White Queen standing over the defeated New Warriors. Team members shown at her feet include Justice, Firestar, Kid Nova, Namorita, Night Thrasher, and Speedball.

The Suicide Squad #38 cover by Kevin Maguire with inks by Geof Isherwood sees Bronze Tiger being interrogated under a spotlight with Sarge Steel, Colonel Stoneman, and Mr. Griswold in the background.

The Star Wars: Droids #6 page 22 by Ernie Colón with inks by Marie Severin features seven panels of R2-D2 pursued across the Tatooine desert by Sand People and scaring them off by projecting a giant image of C-3PO.

A pair of Rob Liefeld pages are among the top original art lots. The Captain America Vol. 2 #6 page 14 splash with inks by John Sibol is an action-packed page of Cap attacking a group of A.I.M. agents. The X-Force #3 page 6 is split in three panels with Black Tom Cassidy and Juggernaut vs. Siryn, whose scream is captured in hand-lettered sound effects. Both pages are signed by Liefeld at the bottom.

Adam Kubert’s Ultimate Fantastic Four #16 cover with inks by John Dell tracks the Human Torch aflame as he flies from a space shuttle.

The Rom #24 page 14 by Sal Buscema with inks by Joe Sinnott has six panels with Nova, Rom, and Queen Adora greeting what appears to be the New Champions and Nova Corps who are actually Skrulls in disguise.

George Evan’s Super-Villain Team-Up #3 page 14 with inks by Jack Abel is segmented into four panels with Namor the Sub-Mariner and Doctor Doom in each panel, and is signed by Evans.

The Thanos #1 page 13 by Jim Starlin with inks by Al Milgrom with six panels of Adam Warlock tracking down Thanos and the two having a conversation.
