Right now, there are few characters hotter than Batman. The Caped Crusader
is lighting up the silver screen around the world. Always one of DC’s brightest
lights, Batman’s recent film success only adds to status as one of our hobby’s
greatest icons.

Hake’s next auction will feature quite a wide assortment
of Golden Age Batman comics. Each book has been CGC-certified. The artists who
created the covers for many of these books reads like a who’s who of Golden Age
Greats, Jerry Robinson, Dick Sprang, Jack Burnley, Charles Paris and Bob Kane.

Those who collect Catwoman related books may want to take special note
of the copy of Batman #42 being offered. It features her very first cover
appearance in Batman. Fans of the Joker may also want to pay special attention.
Among the listings are three early cover appearances of the Clown Prince of
Crime: issues 40, 49 and 66.
