Yo, Joe! Hake’s Auctions is hosting an online only auction dedicated to G.I. Joe. It is packed with nearly 300 lots of sought after action figures, vehicles, box proofs, original art, and more. The majority of the items are AFA-graded. The auction is open for bids now through Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Leading the charge is the U.S.S. Flagg Series 4 vehicle AFA Qualified 85 Canada issue from Hasbro. The large aircraft carrier/playset comes with a towing vehicle, fuel trailer, admiral’s launch, and a Keel-Haul (Admiral) action figure. The Canadian issue differs from the American one because it included blueprints, brochure, box of stickers, sticker application blueprint with English and French text, and the box shows the Canadian and American flags. This rarely found piece is the only AFA-graded example per their population report.

“It can be difficult to find or even source a complete American U.S.S. Flagg, especially with the original box. The G.I. Joe collecting community will no doubt be just as stunned as us to see this exceedingly rare Canadian Flagg, complete in a box bearing some slight modifications by Hasbro to appeal to customers in The Great White North,” Hake’s Senior Consignment Manager Mike Bollinger said. “In the nearly 40 years since this Canadian Flagg first set sail for Canadian shores, this is the first and only example we have ever seen, let alone offered. Some lucky Joe fan’s collection is about to get much more impressive.”

Impressive examples of two of the most popular characters are in the auction. The Storm Shadow Series 3 36-back AFA 95 is on unpunched gray file card and the Snake Eyes Series 1 11-back AFA 90 (straight arm variety) is on a peach file card. Each of these figures is the single highest graded example and both come from the Russell Branton Collection.

Top tier vehicles are rolling through the auction like the Viper Cobra Command Attack Glider Series 2 AFA 85. This “Real Flying Glider” and Viper Pilot is one of only two gliders made for the GI Joe toy line. It is the single highest graded example and comes from the Russell Branton Collection.

The motorized Battle Tank (MOBAT) Series 2 AFA 85 with Steeler action figure is in the box without the barcode on peach file card. At the time of cataloging, there are only ten examples graded by AFA with only three at AFA 85 and none higher. This piece comes from the Russell Branton Collection.

Artwork and other toy line collectibles are also crossing the auction block, like the G.I. Joe: Battle Corps Bazooka (V3) final card original art by Doug Hart. The 14-7/8” x 19-1/2” Bainbridge Board has mixed medial art of the character for the Series 12 figure released in 1993. It is signed twice by Hart.

The Cobra Night Attack 4-WD (Stinger) Series 3 box proof is cardboard and measures 25” x 27”. It was made for the Cobra Command Weapon vehicle and Cobra Stinger Driver figure as a part of Series 4. The proof includes a peach file card, all six sides of the box, and printer registration marks.

Bidding is open at hakes.com now through September 25.
