This week Hake’s Americana & Collectibles unveiled the cover for their Auction #213 catalog. On their Facebook page they featured Remco Universal Monsters figures including The Mummy, The Wolf Man, The Phantom of the Opera, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Dracula, and Frankenstein. They celebrated Columbus Day with a vintage button issued in the 1930s that features a portrait of Christopher Columbus flanked by American and Italian flags.

They highlighted an Alice Cooper band-signed poster, they commemorated Eisenhower’s birth with a campaign button, and posted a scarce Theodore Roosevelt 1912 campaign button. Superhero fans will want to see the image of their Batman #52 CGC 6.0, they posted an 1896 High Admiral Cigarette button showing the Yellow Kid supporting Harvard, and a George Washington button that dates back to around 1900 and promotes a Denver, CO area brewer. Their next auction will also have a Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey circus poster from 1936-1937 featuring clown Pat Valdo.
