Hake’s Facebook Page Update

This week Hake’s Americana & Collectibles posted a selection of items on their Facebook page that will be up for bid in their upcoming Auction #214. The preview featured a LIFE magazine signed by Dodgers legend Sandy Koufax, a button proclaiming “I’m For Nixon,” and The Shadow and the Living Death Better Little Book from the Rogers M. Fred, Jr. BLB & Related Collection. They are offering a button from 1900 advertising a Shriner’s convention in Tory, New York, Aurora Babe Ruth model kit, and a button that chronicles one of the great button-makers of the 20th Century, Chicago’s Parisian Novelty Company.

Other items previewed for Auction #214 are a vintage Road Runner lunchbox, 1960s Mike Ditka Chicago Bears button, and a classic issues of Mad Magazine. Hake’s also has a political button depicting Woodrow Wilson with the slogan “The Man of the Hour,” Batman #68 CGC 6.5 featuring a great image of Two-Face on the cover, and great Babe Ruth Club button issued by the Herald and Examiner newspaper.
