Green Lantern and Green Arrow take on drug culture and Guy Gardner is introduced in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation, & Art Weekly Online Auction.

Heritage has a high grade example of the key Green Lantern #85 CGC 9.4 in which Oliver Queen and Hal Jordan investigate the world of drugs. To Oliver’s shock and dismay, they learn that Green Arrow’s teen sidekick Roy Harper has become addicted to drugs. Neal Adams provided the cover and art for the issue, which comes from the Doron Ofir Collection.

The Green Lantern’s origin is retold and Guy Gardner makes his debut in Green Lantern #59 CGC 9.0. Hal Jordan is shown the Memory Machine, which records Green Lanterns’ memories and he learns about his successor, Guy. With a cover by Gil Kane and art by Kane, Murphy Anderson, and Sid Green, this issue is also from the Doron Ofir Collection.
