Scoop recently learned that Comic Art & Graffix Gallery’s first
new catalog in over eight years has just been released. The catalog features 32
full color pages of vintage posters from 1921 to the 1950s including such great
titles as Dead Reckoning, Destination Moon, Ocean’s 11,
Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe, 3 Godfathers, Diamonds Are
Forever
, Viva Las Vegas, Pillow of Death, Creature From the
Black Lagoon
, King Kong, Rebel Without a Cause, Blue
Dahlia
, and more. The selection of posters include examples from America,
France, Italy, Britain and elsewhere.

In addition to the selection of
movie posters, there are pages full of EC comic art, including complete stories
by Al Williamson, Al Feldstein, Johnny Craig, and Jack Davis, A complete Silver
Age DC Flash story by Carmine Infantino, pulp cover art by Virgil Finlay, a
Conan poster painting by Bernie Wrightson, a 1948 Prince Valiant Sunday page art
by Hal Foster, art by Frank Miller, Chester Gould, Alex Raymond, Frank King,
C.C. Beck, Milton Caniff, and others. The catalog also includes vintage pulps
rare comic books, and rare 8×10 original vintage stills from 1918 to the
1950s.
