Golden Age creators such as Jerry Robinson (creator of the Joker and
Robin), Alvin Schwartz (writer and creator of Bizarro) meet the modern masters
of the artform like Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man), Warren
Ellis (Ultimate Fantastic Four), Bill Willingham (Fables), David
Mack (Kabuki) at the Toronto Comicon. The show, which is scheduled for
April 29-May 1, 2005, will also host the Shuster Awards.

The Shuster
Awards are given in honor of Canadian-born co-creator of Superman Joe Shuster.
The awards will be handed out at a ceremony at the con on Saturday, April
30.

Additonal guests include Dave Sim (Cerebus), Adi Granov
(Iron Man), Dave Ross (Breakdown), B. Clay Moore (Hawaiian
Dick), J. Torres (Love As A Foreign Language, Teen Titans Go), Tom
Fowler (Green Arrow), Jim Craig (What If?), Tom Grummett (Teen
Titans), Kaare Andrews (Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Year One), Phil
Jimenez (DC Countdown), Francis Manapul (Magdalena/Vampirella),
Stuart Sayger (Shiver in the Dark), and others.

Fans attending the
show will be able to submit comics and magazines for CGC certification and
retailers such as Metropolis Comics’ Vincent Zurzolo, Jr. will be on hand to
meet their customers.
