Comic, TV, and novel writer Peter David has experienced significant health issues, and his medical bills are growing. A GoFundMe campaign has been created to help with the medical bills.

As a comic writer, David has had a celebrated run on The Incredible Hulk, as well as successful runs on Aquaman, Spider-Man, Supergirl, X-Factor, Young Justice, and Star Trek comics. He co-created the Star Trek: New Frontier novel series, and has written for TV shows like Babylon 5, Young Justice, Ben 10: Alien Force, and he co-created Nickelodeon’s Space Cases.

David is suffering from kidney failure, he had a series of strokes, and a mild heart attack. His wife, Kathleen David, has provided updates on the GoFundMe page, letting fans know that he is doing physical therapy to recover from the stroke, doctors are running tests on his carotid arteries, and other procedures are being done to help David heal.
