GMRS Shows Rizzuto Collection at Atlantique
When Atlantique City opens next weekend, March 25 and 26, Geppi’s
Memorabilia Road Show will be right there, as the doors open, to show select
items from The Phil Rizzuto Collection, the most talked about sports collection
to enter the auction marketplace this year. Stop by and visit GMRS
representatives Jamie David, Sara Ortt and Patrick Scholz and get a closer look
at the breathtaking items featured.

items from The Phil Rizzuto Collection, the most talked about sports collection
to enter the auction marketplace this year. Stop by and visit GMRS

Among the items that can be seen will be Rizzuto’s 1953 and 1996 World
Series rings (representing the magical 5th consecutive world
championship, and Phil’s final year as a broadcaster), an original Leroy Neiman
painting of Scooter in action at Yankee Stadium (one of the most valuable pieces
of the collection), a game used catcher’s mitt from Phil’s Hall of Fame teammate
Yogi Berra, a platinum record for “Bat Out of Hell” by Meatloaf, on which Phil’s
background voice is featured in one of the hits off that album, a game used Joe
DiMaggio bat, an All-Star bat, and two unique, “sawed in half” bats, signed by
his teammates and by an All-Star team.
