eMoviePoster’s Tuesday auction that ends February 14, 2023, contains 1,699 US and international posters, glass slides, lobby cards, stills, and more. The auction contains a selection of special one-time consignments.
First, there are 120 coming attraction glass slides, which includes a collection of 76 recently discovered glass slides. Almost all of them are from 1931 to 1933, including some of the best and most rare titles from those years. Second, they are offering 47 faux lobby card sets that are fan-created and only three of each set were created. Third, is a recently consigned collection of 139 mostly 1940s and 1950s window cards, with a lot of rare and desirable titles.
Glass slides highlights are King Kong, Monkey Business, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Island of Lost Souls, and Murders in the Rue Morgue.
Featured window cards include War of the Worlds, Dial M for Murder, The Mummy’s Tomb, Dead Reckoning, Vertigo, The Great Dictator, Breakfast At Tiffany’s, Rear Window, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Double Indemnity, At the Circus, It Came from Outer Space 3D, and Midnight Cowboy.
One-sheets are Jaws, Return of the Jedi dated teaser, Star Wars style A third printing, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Birds, You Only Live Twice teaser, Halloween, The Thing, Queen of Outer Space, Outlaw Josey Wales NSS style, Godzilla vs. Bionic Monster, and Empire Strikes Back NSS style B.
There are lobby cards for The Thing, Dracula’s Daughter, Hold That Ghost, City Streets, Ten Cents a Dance, and Dracula 1947 rerelease, and a Who Done It title card. Other highlights are The Munsters repro photo signed by Fred Gwynee, Yvonne De Carlo, and others, and stills for Lost in Space set of 16 and Phantom of the Opera.
eMoviePoster’s all-signed items auction is now live and ends February 19, featuring 593 signed movie posters, lobby cards, stills, contracts, letters, and more.
