Ghostbusters Redux?
Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, writers and producers of NBC’s comedy The Office, have been recruited by Sony to write a new Ghostbusters film.
“The original filmmakers, including director Ivan Reitman, and cast are aware of the project and involved in its development. Some original cast members might be involved, but not in central roles,” the Reuters news agency reported.
Harold Ramis, who starred with Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, and Ernie Hudson in the original films, told the Chicago Tribune that their characters might appear in some sort of mentoring capacity with new characters.
All four actors recently lent their voices to the upcoming Ghostbusters videogame.
