In 2013 Walt Disney Animation Studios produced an animated short called Get a Horse! with Disney favorites Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Peg-Leg Pete. The film combines black and white hand drawn animation with color and CGI animation, bringing together the early cartoon with a modern twist. The film even uses archival recordings of Walt Disney voicing Mickey Mouse. It is the first original theatrical animated short since Runaway Brain in 1995 and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit’s first appearance in a Disney production in 85 years.
