George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition Out in June 2026
In the early 1980s, artist George Pérez helped launch The New Teen Titans book that followed DC’s young heroes like Robin, Starfire, Kid Flash, Raven, Wonder Girl, Cyborg, and Beast Boy. The style he put into the book, detailed faces, and fresh layouts, made it a very popular title for DC. He drew The New Teen Titans from 1980 to ’85, and worked on the second volume in ’88 and ’89.
His work on the book is the subject of the upcoming George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition from Skybound and Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 Publishing. This is the latest in a multi-book deal with DC, and will be in stores in June 2026.

A large selection of Pérez’s original art, including covers and specially chosen pages from The New Teen Titans #1-40, will appear in the book. It opens with an introduction by Marv Wolfman, The New Teen Titans co-creator and Pérez’s longtime collaborator.
“George Pérez’s work struck a chord with fans. His craftsmanship and beautiful imagery showed, to me, his true love of drawing – you could feel the care he put into his art,” Scott Dunbier said. “George’s work is long overdue for an Artist’s Edition and I’m happy it is finally happening.”
All of the art is scanned in color to show the ink gradients, blue pencils, and other aspects that reproduce the look of the original pages. The book is printed at the same size as the original art, measuring 12” x 17”, and is in hardcover format.
“George Pérez is one of the greatest storytellers of my lifetime,” Skybound SVP, Publisher Sean Mackiewicz said. “This volume captures his masterful linework like never before, with all the dazzling detail, heartwarming (and heartbreaking) emotion, and awe-inspiring action he rendered on the board.”

Act 4 Publishing and Skybound are partnering on a line of artist’s editions that includes Jim Aparo’s DC Classics Artist’s Edition (out in late 2025). The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko Artist’s Edition, Darwyn Cooke’s The Complete Spirit Connoisseur Edition, Wally Wood’s EC Stories Artist’s Edition – EXPANDED, and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy in Hell Book 2 Artist’s Edition are all due out in 2026.
The publishing partnership will continue with J. Scott Campbell’s Danger Girl Artist Edition, Dave Stevens’ Covers and Stories’ Connoisseur Edition, Jason Pearson’s Body Bags Artist’s Edition, and Paul Smith’s Leave It to Chance Artist’s Edition.
George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition retails for $150 and will be in comic book stores on June 17.
