The Public Library Association is holding its 11th national conference in
Boston, Massachussetts this week, with librarians and other library personnel
from around the country and Canada in attendance to search out new product for
library shelves. The conference is held in a major US city once every other
year.

Gemtone’s Editor-in-Chief/Disney Comics, John Clark, and Assistant
Editor Susan Kolberg are at the show to promote awareness of Disney comics.
Diamond Book Distributors’ Allan Greenberg and Terry Helman are also in
attendance to spread the word to librarians about the desireability of comic
books and graphic novels in general to readers of all ages.
