Gemstone Editor Carrie Wood Appearing at AniMore Con
The inaugural AniMore Con in Baltimore will be taking place on January 22-24, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Charm City, and one of Gemstone Publishing’s editors will be in attendance as a guest. Carrie Wood, Gemstone’s Assistant Editor, will be one of the cosplay guests at AniMore for their first-ever show. Wood will also be promoting The Overstreet Guide to Cosplay, of which she is one of the lead authors.
“We had a great launch of the book this month at Virginia Comicon, so it’ll be interesting to see how things go at an anime-focused convention,” Wood said. “I’m supremely flattered that they would bring me on as a guest, and I’m excited to see how this new convention in my hometown fares this January!”
Other guests at AniMore include voice actors Vic Mignogna (Fullmetal Alchemist), Emily Neves (Angel Beats), Anthony Bowling (The Devil is a Part-Timer), Felecia Angelle (One Piece), and Mark Lancaster (Detective Conan), as well as cosplayers Aaron Rabe, Cubbi, Kamikaze Miko, and Rhoulette Cosplay.
Information about the convention and the venue can be found at the AniMore website.
