Funimation Announces Virtual Anime Convention
Funimation will host a virtual anime convention titled FunimationCon on July 3-4, 2020. The con will host a wide range of artists and entertainers who will participate in panels and Q&As. It’ll be available to stream in the U.S. and Canada.
“FunimationCon is a chance for us to give back to a community which has supported us for over 25 years by reimagining the convention experience,” Funimation General Manager Colin Decker said in a statement. “With so many anime events being canceled this year, we’re jumping in to fill the gap with a new way for fans to come together and enjoy some great content and experiences.”
More information as FunimationCon continues developing will be posted on the Funimation website.
