Fright Night Reaches the Witching Hour in New Comic
The unending Fright Night continues with the new comic series Fright Night: The Witching Hour from American Mythology. Charley Brewster and his crew will work with another group of monster hunters to stop Jerry Dandrige, face the supernatural undead, and encounter a powerful witch.
Based on the cult 1985 vampire horror movie written and directed by Tom Holland, the series is written by James Kuhoric (Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash) and G.O. Parsons (Willy’s Wonderland film), with interior art by Neil Vokes (Superman Adventures). It is a sequel to the Fright Night: Senior Year miniseries about Charley navigating his last year of high school and continuing the fight against vampires.

While adjusting to life after the events in Senior Year, Charley, Amy, and famous vampire killer Peter Vincent will start working with the Knights of the Silver Crucifix to continue combatting supernatural evil. Jerry is planning his return and his revenge, hordes of vampires and zombies are descending upon them, and they encounter a young witch who could be a new friend and ally or another foe to fight. Oh, and Evil Ed is back… again.
Fright Night: The Witching Hour #1 has a main cover by Roy Allan Martinez, and variant covers by Greg LaRocque, Buz Hasson, Paul Maitland, and Neil Vokes.
It is open for preorder on American Mythology’s website.
