Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is celebrated annually on the first Saturday in May at participating comic book shops worldwide. The 2025 event is coming up this weekend on Saturday, May 3.

This year’s comic book lineup features something for everyone: from superheroes to TV shows and video games, beloved franchises and favorites for young readers. The publisher lineup includes DC, Marvel, Archie Comics, Image, Dark Horse, BOOM! Studios, Dynamite Entertainment, Oni Press, Titan Books, IDW Publishing, Mad Cave Studios, and many others.

Stories will follow the likes of Superman, the Valiant heroes, Iron Man, the Riverdale gang, and the X-Men. They also feature Dr. Seuss characters, Disney’s Gargoyles, Minecraft, Megaman, Star Wars, and the Powerpuff Girls. Check out the full list of Free Comic Book Day offerings below.
