The countdown clock is already running for the 2010 edition of Free Comic Book Day.

As we’ve mentioned previously in Scoop, the day has become a sensation with the establishment media as well as new media sources. While record prices have been paid for numerous vintage, high-grade comic books, it’s also big news when the comic industry stands up and says "Hey, look at us!" in such convincing way.

Our contribution to the day will be The Overstreet Guide To Collecting Comics FCBD 2010 Edition. It take a look at how to collect comics, how to take care of your comics, how to grade them, how to buy and sell them, and more.

We also take a quick look at current trends, including the revival of old characters, with Dark Horse’s Mike Richardson, Jim Shooter (Solar and Magnus), Jim Krueger (Project Superpowers) and Jeff Parker (Agents of Atlas).
