Frank Cammuso has been a political cartoonist for the The Post-Standard newspaper in Syracuse, NY for the past 20 years. Throughout that time, his cartoons have been seen in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today and Newsweek.

He has also written fiction and satire with his good friend Hart Seely, and their pieces has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Village Voice, Slate, and on National Public Radio. Their book of humor essays, 2007-Eleven and Other American Comedies, was published by Villard in 2000.

He’s also drawn comics for Raw Jr., Nick Magazine and Scholastic Books, but – aside from being a really good guy and a new dad – he’ll always be the creative mind who gave us Max Hamm, Fairy Tale Detective.
