Cobras are going on a stealthy quiet issue in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Sssilent Missions – Crimson Guard #1. Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, are giving a first look at interior pages written and illustrated by Gabriel Hardman (Green Lantern: Earth One). The one-shot special will be in comic shops in April 2026.

The G.I. Joe silent issues featuring all action and no dialogue started in issue 21 with the “Silent Interlude.” This second Silent Missions special will focus on Cobra as the latest graduates of Crimson Guard take their final test by trying to protect Cobra Commander from the G.I. Joes.

It comes with a main cover by Gabriel Hardman with multiple variant covers, including an open to order by Jorge Fornés (Rorschach), a 1:10 incentive black and white version of Hardman’s cover, and a 1:25 incentive foil letter cover series by Fornés.

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Sssilent Missions – Crimson Guard #1 will be in comic shops on April 8. It is the second of five Silent Missions one-shots releasing in April that feature stories and art by Hardman, Jöelle Jones and Declan Shalvey, Pat Olliffe and Tom DeFalco, Howard Porter, and Fornés.
