Jamie Clayton has suited up as Pinhead in the new Hellraiser and has such sights to show viewers. The film reboot headed to Hulu is directed by David Bruckner and will tell a new story in the Hellraiser universe.

The original Hellraiser was written and directed by Clive Barker in 1987. The body horror film introduced the Cenobites, the pain-obsessed interdimensional beings who can be summoned through a puzzle box known as the Lament Configuration.

The new movie stars Riley (Odessa A’zion) a young woman dealing with addiction and compulsive behavior who finds the Lament Configuration and unleashes the Cenobites. Clayton is stepping in as the first female Pinhead, in a role that was memorably played by Doug Bradley in the original film and several sequels.

It will also introduce new Cenobites, including The Masque, whose first image was released alongside that of Pinhead. The cast also includes Goran Visnjic as a wealthy man educated in the occult who is interested in the Lament Configuration.

Hellraiser was written by Night House writers Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski. Barker is one of the new movie’s producers and was involved in preproduction process.

Hellraiser will premiere on Hulu on October 7, 2022.
