Tales to Astonish #13 CGC 5.5 introduces readers to Groot of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The issue is currently tied at No. 35 on Overstreet’s Top 50 Silver Age Comics list and features a Jack Kirby cover. Kirby, Steve Ditko, Joe Maneely, Dick Ayers and Don Heck joined forces to create the art for the issue.

The new X-Men, including Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Thunderbird, along with Wolverine’s second appearance are featured in Giant-Size X-Men #1 CGC 8.0. Gil Kane and Dave Cockrum created the cover, and Cockrum did the art for the issue, which is currently ranked at No. 9 on Overstreet’s list of Top 10 Bronze Age Comics.
