First Appearances in ComicConnect March Event

Time is running out to list comic book and original comic art in the next ComicConnect.com Event Auction, with an online deadline of Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10 PM EDT.

ComicConnect.com also offers free scanning and posting for all CGC- and PGX-certified comics sent for inclusion in the auction at the $1 start with no reserve for s seller’s commission of 10%. To take advantage of this service, you must ship your third party graded comics so that they are received by no later than Tuesday, March 23.

The March Event Auction has over 100 first appearances to choose from including the most important of them all, Action Comics #1 CGC 3.0 with the first appearance of Superman. Spider-Man’s first appearance can be found in the world’s worst copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 0.5.

“Most major heroes, villains, and sidekicks from the last 70 years are up for grabs, “said Rob Reynolds, Director of Consignments.

Golden Age first appearances include the Black Terror in Exciting Comics #9 CGC 4.0, Golden Lad in Golden Lad #1 FN, and Solomon Grundy in All-American Comics #61 CGC 9.4.

Silver Age firsts include Iron Man, Dr. Strange, the X-Men, the Green Goblin, the Metal Men, the Atom, Captain America, the Teen Titans, Silver Surfer, Green Lantern, the Red Skull, Batgirl, Daredevil, Hawkman and Hawkgirl, the Punisher, Supergirl, Electro, Enemy Ace, Mephisto, Antman, the Vulture and many more!
