Feast Of The Seven Fishes Returns
from its hiatus this coming Monday, April 11, 2005 on the Sunny Fundays website
(www.sunnyfundays.com) and
numerous other sites.
A very human story of ins and outs of
relationships and family during the holidays, Feast has won praise from
traditional comics fans and new readers alike. Previous editions of the daily
strip, written by Robert Tinnell (The Black Forest, The Wicked
West) and illustrated by Alex Saviuk (Web of Spider-Man) are archived
so readers can catch up before the strip comes to its conclusion in two
weeks.
Saviuk, who is also known to many fans for his long stint inking
the Amazing Spider-Man daily strip, had previously put his work on
Feast on hold while he recovered from an illness.
Tinnell and
Saviuk have also announced that the entire run of Feast will be collected
in a hardcover book with a unique approach: it will be half comics, half
cookbook and will feature the recipes of all the Italian Christmas dishes
described in the story. Set for a September release, Feast should be
featured in the July Previews from Diamond Comic
Distributors.
