Free Comic Book Day (FCBD), which is this Saturday, May 6, 2006, will see
fans from all corners of the nation rushing off to their local comic shops to
pick up the plethora of free comics being offered this year. But, as an added
bonus to fans in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area, writer-artist John K.
Snyder III will be signing and sketching at Big Planet Comics in Bethesda, MD
from 12:00 – 3:00 pm.

Snyder, who has worked on such characters as
Captain America, Darth Vader, Boba Fett Doctor Mid-Nite and the Green Lantern,
has painted several covers for The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide
featuring Silver Age Marvel characters. In addition, Snyder is finishing up
pencils and inks for an upcoming 3-issue Batman arc for DC and the art
for Upper Deck’s Warcraft card set.
