Fan Expo Canada 2009 reported a record-breaking crowd of more than 59, 000 fans over three days during its 15th anniversary celebration, August 28-30, 2009. This was, they said, a 23% increase in attendance from last year’s event. 

Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Fan Expo Canada, the largest combined gaming, horror, comic, science fiction and anime event in Canada, and it is widely seen as the third largest comic character convention in North America.

The 2010 edition of the show is scheduled for August 27-29 at the same location.
