Otakon will be held soon on August 8-10, 2025, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, located at 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW in Washington, DC.

Guests include Non Sweet (musical group), Kari Wahlgren (Fate Zero), Christina Kelly (Suicide Squad ISEKAI), Xanthe Huynh (Persona 5), Sarah Myer (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures), Hiroshi Kamiya (One Piece), Koutaro Nishiyama (My New Boss is Goofy), Sayumi Suzushiro (Bocchi the Rock), and several more.

There are tons of activities, including an AMV contest, community dance, Club Ota, gaming hall, Host Club, Idolspace at Otakon, Kpop Showtime Competition, LARPing, Otakon Fashion District, Lyra’s Formal Ball, Maid Café, Manga Library, masquerade, Matsuri, Mecha Kaikan, Otacafe, Ota-chan, Ota Lounge, Makerspace, Portable Kaiju Super Battle League, panels, workshops, and VIP events.

Otakon convention hours have not been posted yet.

The three-day admission is $105, Friday is $65, Saturday is $75, and Sunday is $40.
