Price Guide, discovered what is now believed to be the biggest cartoon
illustration in an American periodical.

Years 1848-49 issue of Brother Jonathan A Holiday Pictorial (which was
originally priced at 12½ ¢), the image of the full two-page spread
Christmas-themed cartoon can be seen in the image above, held by Caren (left)
and Gemstone’s J.C. Vaughn.
Titled “Christmas,” the piece features seven
related parts, “The Invitation,” “The Sleigh-Ride,”
