Entertainment Weekly Gives a Look at Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel has taken flight on the new cover for Entertainment Weekly, which shows Brie Larson as Carol Danvers in full costume for the first time.
Carol’s introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was teased at the tail end of Avengers: Infinity War, when her logo appeared on the pager used by Nick Fury. She will see her full film debut on March 8, 2019, when Captain Marvel arrives in theaters.
“She can’t help but be herself,” Larson told EW about Danvers. “She can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face. She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the [not] waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.”
Entertainment Weekly also provided a first look at photos straight from the film’s set, which can be seen in the gallery below.
