Halloween ComicFest is only two weeks away, on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Similar to Free Comic Book Day, attendees at participating comic book shops will get free comic books. And Elvira Mistress of the Dark wants you to participate.

Cassandra Peterson dressed up as her Elvira persona to encourage readers to check out the spook-tacular event with Halloween themed comic books, for all ages. And you should listen to her, she knows a thing or two about Halloween.

Events held during Halloween ComicFest include costume contests, games, raffles, store sales, meet and greets with writers and artists, plus more. Anyone who receives one of the 21 free Halloween ComicFest comics can enter the Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever for a chance to win $500 or $100 shopping spree at local comic shops.
