Oni Press and William M. Gaines Agent, Inc. are expanding their EC horror lineup with a new title and horror host. The Tormentor, who has “an unhealthy interest in human anatomy” per the press release, is ready to preside over Catacomb of Torment #1 in July 2025.

The 40-page debut issue will feature tales from John Arcudi (B.P.R.D.) and Patrick Piazzalungo (Those Not Afraid), Matt Kindt (BRZRKR) and David Lapham (Stray Bullets), and Marguerite Bennett (Batwoman) and Dan McDaid (Shazam!). The issue will also include a classic EC story that has been remastered and restored to its original coloring.

Catacomb of Torment begins with covers by Jorge Fornés (Rorschach), Tom Fowler (MAD Magazine), Patricia Martín (G.I. Joe), Jay Stephens (Dwellings), and Dustin Weaver (Avengers).
