An early key issue of Fantastic Four and Avengers #1 are featured books in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comic Books Select Auction. Comics in the auction close on November 14, 2021, followed by everything else on November 15.

The Silver Surfer fights Galactus in Fantastic Four #50 CGC 7.5, featuring a cover and art by Jack Kirby. This issue also contains the first appearance of Wyatt Wingfoot, a non-superpowered character who is friends with the Human Torch and dates occasional Fantastic Four member She-Hulk.

The Avengers #1 CGC 7.0 includes the origin and first appearance of the Avengers, including Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Wasp. The issue also features appearances by Loki, the Teen Brigade, and the Fantastic Four. Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers provided the cover and the art for the issue.
