Doom #1 Complete Original Art in ComicConnect’s Event Auction 68
ComicConnect’s Event Auction 68 will feature a special session that offers Sanford Greene’s complete original art for 2024’s Doom #1. The auction of vintage comics and original art will open on Monday, November 16, 2026.
Greene joined Jonathan Hickman as co-writer for this special one-shot comic. His art depicts an intergalactic brawl between Doctor Doom and the planet-devouring Galactus. Doom also saw Greene drawing appearances of over 150 additional Marvel characters as part of the battle.
The book was met with acclaim from both critics and fans and quickly sold out two printings on the way to becoming one of 2024’s top selling comics. Doom also became a part of the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday promotion. Robert Downey, Jr. posted an Instagram pic of Doom on the film set and called it “essential” reading.

ComicConnect’s showcase also highlights how nearly every page of Doom is a splash that would be worthy of a cover drawing. The pages have wild landscapes and touching portraits that communicate the entirety of Doom’s story even without lettering.
The Doom pages are scheduled for a special closing session on Sunday, December 6 that will kick-off the final days of Event Auction 68.
