December 6: Daytona Beach Comic Convention
It’s time for the next Daytona Beach Comic Convention, this Sunday, December 6, 2015. Head to the Embry Riddle ICI Center in the new, bigger location to buy, sell, and trade comics, toys, and collectibles from over 110 vendor tables.
Comics guests at the show include Christian Slade (artist Korgi), John Beatty (inker Secret Wars), Tom Lyle (artist Starman), Roland Mann (writer Cat & Mouse), Andre Frattino (inker Azteca). The Walking Dead zombies Stephen Vining, Tim Proctor, and Chris Harrelson will be there as will Joel Wynkoop “King of the B Movies.”
Vendors include Cloak and Dagger Comics, Pop Culture Playground, Cliff’s Books, A to Z Collectibles, Herb McGrath, Nerdz, Zeida Chaudoin, R and A Relics, Jimmy’s Comic Books, AWA Inc., Pam and Charlie Cordero, Glen Cohen Books, Pike’s Comics, Wee Bee Cards, Big Island Toys, Jay’s Multi-Media, Hot Shot Toys, Tidalwave Comics, Toys Around the Clock, and plenty of others.
The costume contest will take place at 2:30 PM with $300 in prizes.
The Phantasmagoria Orlando Victorian/steampunk influences/horror troupe will be there performing through several entertainment platforms.
The Daytona Beach Comic Convention will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is only $5 for adults and kids 12 years old and younger get in for free. The Embry Riddle ICI Center is located at 601 S. Clyde Morris Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL.
