Heritage’s weekly comic and art auctions include one of the most memorable EC books, a Tomb of Dracula page, and two pages featuring Al Milgrom’s art. The Comic Books Select Auction closes on Sunday through Tuesday, November 1-3, 2026, and the Comic Art & Illustration Auction wraps up on Wednesday, November 4.

In the comic book auction, Heritage is selling the pre-Code horror classic Crime SuspenStories #22 CGC 3.0 with Johnny Craig’s iconic decapitation cover. Batman #237 CGC 8.5 presents Neal Adams’ spooky cover of Batman and Robin with the Grim Reaper.

Unexpected #112 CGC 9.6 is another Halloween-worthy Neal Adams cover featuring a mad man and it’s the highest graded copy. Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1 CGC 9.9 is the first self-titled Hellboy book and it’s one of only three at that grade with none higher.

The Halloween theme continues in the original art auction. Gene Colan and Tom Palmer’s Tomb of Dracula #42 story page 14 captures Dracula’s transformation. Tom Grummett and Cory Hamscher’s Chaos War: Dead Avengers #2 cover shows the Grim Reaper surveying a field of Avenger corpses.

Paul Gulacy and Al Milgrom’s Master of Kung Fu #20 pages 14-15 double-page splash is an action scene with Shang-Chi and Korain. Brandon Peterson and Al Milgrom’s The Uncanny X-Men #298 story page 16 shows Jean Grey battling Unuscione and the Kleinstock brothers.
