Internet maven (and
Deadline creator) Bill Rosemann may be leaving his staff position at
Marvel Comics behind for life in Florida, but not before the new series and
characters he created are released in this new trade paperback
collection.
Katherine “Kat” Farrell is a rookie reporter for
the New York Daily Bugle. She’s assigned to the superhero beat. And she
hates “capes,” as she calls them. A seemingly routine story turns
into the ride of a lifetime, with death and danger at about every
turn.
Rosemann’s crisp dialogue combines with the very stylish (but not
too stylish) artwork of Guy Davis to give this tale just the right
feel.
“The coolest thing about having something that you’ve written
collected into a trade paperback has to be the fact that now my mom can walk
into a Barnes & Noble and actually see something with her son’s name on
it!” Rosemann told Scoop. “Also, I was especially happy that
I got Joe Quesada’s original character design of The Judge included in the book
for all to see.”
