DC Releases Action-Heavy Supergirl “Tickets On Sale” Trailer
DC and Warner Bros. have released several trailers for the upcoming Supergirl movie that set up the story, her new allies, and the film’s antagonists. For the trailer announcing that tickets are on sale, they upped the energy with plenty of action.
It opens Kara Zor-El/Supergirl (Milly Alcock) and Krypto arriving on Earth. Then Kara points out the differences between herself and her cousin, Superman (David Corenswet), specifically that “he sees the good in everyone” and she “sees the truth.” It shows the Brigands wreaking havoc and scenes of Krypton being destroyed.

There’s previously seen footage of Krypto being poisoned and Supergirl fighting multiple assailants. Lobo (Jason Momoa) makes his entrance through literal fire and then swings his gutting hook. Superman gives Kara her Supergirl suit, Kara saves her new traveling companion Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley), and she confronts the film’s antagonist, Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts).
The movie is based on the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, in which Supergirl and a young alien named Knolle travel throughout the galaxy to find Krem of the Yellow Hill, who killed Knolle’s father.
Alcock was introduced as Supergirl in a cameo at the end of 2025’s Superman when she drunkenly stumbles into the Fortress of Solitude to pick up Krypto. Momoa is returning to DC in the new role of Lobo, after his three appearances as Aquaman from before James Gunn and Peter Safran became co-heads of DC Studios.
Supergirl is directed by Craig Gillespie (Cruella) and written by Ana Nogueira. It also stars David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, Ferdinand Kingsley as Elias Knoll, Diarmaid Murtagh as Drom Baxton, Alice Hewkin as Sklarian Raider, and Wil Coban as Brute.
The movie flies into theaters on June 26, 2026.
