
DC & Marvel’s Recent Crossovers Collected in Cosmic Kiss Caper
The latest crossovers between DC and Marvel are being collected in DC/Marvel: The Cosmic Kiss Caper & Other Stories. Published by DC Comics, the 224-page collection features a lineup of new stories bringing together iconic characters from each publisher. The first DC/Marvel crossover collection released in over 20 years, it will be in stores in September 2026.
The book’s main stories include Batman/Deadpool by Grant Morrison and Dan Mora, which sees the Dark Knight begrudgingly joined by the Merc with a Mouth. The other headliner is Superman/Spider-Man by Mark Waid and Jorge Jiménez, in which Clark Kent and Peter Parker discover a conspiracy between Brainiac and Doctor Octopus.
The collection also features stories that pair Lois Lane and Mary Jane Watson, Power Girl and Punisher, Nightwing and Wolverine, Jimmy Olsen and Carnage, Superboy and Spider-Man 2099, and others. The tales were provided by writers and artists like Tom King, Jim Lee, Gail Simone, Belén Ortega, Tom Taylor, Bruno Redondo, Matt Fraction, Steve Lieber, Sean Murphy, Christopher Priest, Daniel Sampere, Greg Rucka, Nicola Scott, Jeff Lemire, and Rafa Sandoval.

The digital comics DC/Marvel: The Flash/Fantastic Four by Jeremy Adams and Adrian Gutierrez and DC/Marvel: Supergirl/Blade by CRC Payne and Mikel Janín will appear in print for the first time in this collection.
The book also celebrates the work of Denys Cowan, G. Willow Wilson, Mariko Tamaki, Amanda Conner, Hayden Sherman, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson, Scott Snyder, Jeremy Adams, Adrian Gutierrez, CRC Payne, and Mikel Janín “whose work made this historic crossover possible,” according to DC’s press release.
DC/Marvel: The Cosmic Kiss Caper & Other Stories will be available in hardcover and softcover formats.
