Under a typically gruesome “unsweet 13” cover by Jason Shawn Alexander comes a collection of tales in the spirt of the original Creepy, but several of them have a distinctly modern tone to them as well. From Matt Wagner’s frontispiece of Uncle Creepy to the first story (illustrated by Dean Haspiel) to a short series of contributions by Peter Bagge, it’s a really enjoyable mix of different approaches to horror. And there’s a great older Creepy story by Archie Goodwin and Reed Crandall in the mix, too. A splendid outing for horror fans.
