ComicMix.com Editor in Chief Mike Gold announced that the company will debut three of their online graphic novels in print for the first time with limited editions available at the Baltimore Comic-Con. Until now the stories have only been serialized on the ComicMix website.

EZ Street is a Harvey nominated graphic novel by Robert Tinnell (Feast of Seven Fishes, Surf Nazis Must Die) and Mark Wheatley (Mars, Frankenstein Mobster). It is the story of two brothers, ambition, dreams and the creative process.

GrimJack: The Manx Cat is the second new GrimJack graphic novel, and the first published online, after years of fan demand. Since the character’s first appearance in the pages of Starslayer in 1983, GrimJack’s stories have blended hard boiled detective stories with sword and sorcery and action adventure. It was written and illustrated by creators John Ostrander and Tim Truman.

Like GrimJack, Jon Sable was a 1980s comic icon. Created, written, and illustrated by Mike Grell, Jon Sable, Freelance: Ashes of Eden is the second new graphic novel featuring the character and the first one published online. In this new story, Sable is hired by the head of an African diamond cartel to transport a magnificent raw diamond to an exhibit in New York. Of course with Sable, nothing’s that easy.

These limited editions will be available for the first time at the ComicMix booth at the Baltimore Comic-Con, September 28-29, 2008. Each is limited to 100 copies. GrimJack: The Manx Cat and Jon Sable, Freelance: Ashes of Eden will retail for $25, while EZ Street will sell for $35. EZ Street creators Robert Tinnell and Mark Wheatley will be appearing at the Insight Studios booth, and GrimJack artist Tim Truman will be on hand at the ComicMix booth.
