The current ComicLink Featured Focused Auction is ending soon. The comic book portion ends next Tuesday, October 16th thru Thursday, October 18, 2007, and the original art segment of the auction ends next Friday, October 19. According to Josh Nathanson, ComicLink President, this is ComicLink’s best auction yet, with approximately 1,600 vintage comic book and original comic art lots in the auction.

“I strongly suggest customers review the lots now so that they don’t find themselves wondering how best to use your time during the final days of the auction,” said Josh Nathanson. Auction lots range from the beginning of comics in the 1930s through the 1970s. In terms of Silver and Bronze Age, there are many key and early issues in a variety of grades, with condition rarities from both Marvel and DC Comics. This is an opportunity for collectors to upgrade or instantly build strong collections. In terms of Golden Age, there are nearly 500 items from pedigree collections ranging from Gaines file copies to the Crowley collection to the Mile High collection. Many of the comic books are in high-grade, and fall within the top 3 highest graded examples for the issues they represent with many being the very best in existence.

There are also plenty of items to choose from for collectors that are not condition sensitive, though some items offered are even the best in the world in mid-grade. Participants will be able to bid on a range of popular titles, standout covers, and obscure rarities. Many key and #1 issues from this early age of comics are also represented.

The comic book segment of this auction will end over three days with items ending alphabetically by title, from Tuesday, October 16 through the Thursday, October 18. The original comic art segment of the auction will end on Friday, October 19. There are standout offerings from the likes of Graham Ingels, Steve Ditko, Jack Kirby, and John Romita, but there are also more affordable lots from these and many other popular artists.

For more information on the items offered visit the ComicLink Featured Focused Auction.

Other upcoming ComicLink auctions are scheduled for November and January and ComicLink is now taking consignments for these auctions. For more information contact Douglas Gillock, Tomis Erb or Josh Nathanson at 718-246-0300 or via email at buysell@comiclink.com.
